42. Fish & Chips

Fish & Chips

If you are a lover of the great English tradition of Fish and Chips, you’ll be pleased to know you can find an award-winning fish and chip restaurant in Broadway. Russell’s Fish & Chips is ideally located on the high street and offers a finer dining experience to the nation’s favourite dish. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner takes its name from its architectural predecessor; the furniture-making workshop of the great design pioneer, Gordon Russell.

The menu offers classic favourites and lighter options for the health-conscious, and a blackboard of exciting specials. Try the delightful cod or the delicious scampi, which are fried in the locally sourced Cotswold Gold rapeseed oil. During warm summer days you can enjoy your meal on the terrace outside, or you can opt to take away. Order your fish and chips to go and find somewhere to sit along the high street, enjoying some of the finest fish in the Cotswolds while you people watch.

You even have the option of dining in the restaurant of the aptly named, The Fish hotel. Located on the hill overlooking the village, the fish inspired menu is a big draw for lovers of seafood and well worth visiting for the fish and chips alone. There is plenty of opportunity in Broadway to discover your favourite fish and chip supper; you’ll certainly not be disappointed.
