The Volunteer Inn
The Volunteer Inn is a typical 17th century building, standing at the lower end of Chipping Campden's historic High Street. It was named "The Volunteer" in the mid 1800's, because local men used it, to 'sign on' for volunteer armies.
The Volunteer Inn's friendly and welcoming atmosphere attracts locals, tourists, ramblers, cyclists, business people and families alike.
Serving a wide variety of refreshments, as well as English or Indian dishes, The Volunteer Inn also provides comfortable and affordable bed and breakfast accommodation for guests.
Enjoy a drink whilst soaking up the atmosphere within the traditional Cotswold pub. During the winter months The Volunteer Inn have a roaring log fire to keep guests cosy and warm, whilst the beer garden is the perfect place for enjoying the sunshine.
The Volunteer Inn shows live football matches & rugby & cricket on four large TVs screens (one is located outside).
