The heart of the Fish is The Lodge, where the bar, terrace and games room invite guests to while away lazy days and relaxing evenings, while next door, the restaurant promises diners the finest meats and freshest fish, an afternoon tea to remember and a Sunday roast worth shouting about.

The Fish has 67 ensuite bedrooms, all decorated in a soothing Scandinavian-inspired style and including double beds, Freeview TV, free WiFi and a decent-sized desk. The Spacious Rooms have either wood-burning stoves or private outdoor patio areas, and include wet rooms and Nespresso machines. Rooms in The Stables are dog-friendly.
As well as the on-site games room, tennis court and gym, The Fish has a dedicated activity team who can arrange a variety of country pursuits on the estate, including archery, pistol shooting, clay-pigeon shooting, quad biking and Segway safaris. The Fish is an ideal destination for ramblers and picnickers, and there are nature and walking trails running throughout the extensive grounds.
Helmed by chef Carl Holmes, the Restaurant at The Fish serves a unique 21st-century take of surf ’n’ turf: the highest-quality meats sourced from neighbourhood farms, paired with ocean-fresh British fish and shellfish. From fillet steak with lobster tail to duck bacon and scallops or classic fish and chips, the menu lets the ingredients take the starring role, accompanied by a hand-picked selection of fine wine and Cotswold craft ales. Meetings and events
From intimate affairs to push-the-boat-out mega-parties, The Fish can host weddings and celebrations worth talking about for years to come. And, with nine versatile meeting rooms and a dedicated activity team, it’s also the perfect venue for AGMs, away days and company events. Meeting/party rooms and private dining areas are available to book as required, but for the really big bashes, exclusive use of the whole hotel can be arranged.
The Fish is well suited to family stays, with lots of attractions in the area and a number of bedrooms able to accommodate children, and others with space for cots and extra beds. Children aged 0–3 stay free; 4–16-year-olds are charged at £20 a night. A kids’ menu is also available in the restaurant.
